Krishnan Raju production house of super hit films ‘KrishnaVeni’, ‘Bhakta Kannappa’, ‘Amara Deepam’, ‘Bobbili Brahmanna’ and ‘Tandra Paparayudu’, Gopi Krishna Movies pvt ltd is making a comeback with the stylish extravaganza ‘Billa’.Starring Prabhas, Anushka and Namitha in the lead, Krishnam Raju in a prominent role, Meher Ramesh had directed the film produced by Narendra and Prabodh.Saving two songs, the shooting is complete and the makers have announced that the audio launch function will be held before the end of March.

In the recent press meet, director Ramesh said, “All along my career, I had the rare opportunity to direct the younger generation of popular superstars. I directed Puneeth Rajkumar in Kannada for my first and second film, who happens to be the son of Rajkumar. I did ‘Kanthir’ with Jr. NTR, son of NTR and now, I am working with Prabhas, son of Krishnam Raju for ‘Billa’ made on GopiKrishna Movies. I am fortunate to work with these people and do some big budget flicks.” ‘The stylish film is the story of a mafia don for which we have used the latest technology including a 35mm camera. The shooting has been carried out in captivating locations of Malyasia. Fast paced car chases and thrilling stunt scenes will be a treat for film lovers’.

Samardhudu has been officially commenced at Annapoorna Studios. Krishnam Raju has donned a pivotal role in the film and Raja plays the lead while Sanjana plays opposite to him. The film is directed by Arjun and Produced by Akula Suresh Patel and M.Venkata Reddy. Music for the film is composed by Rajasekhar. The clap for the initial shot was given by Prabhas and Vinay Kumar switched on the camera. Speaking on the occasion Krishnam Raju said that he dons the role of MLA who works for the people. He added saying that he could do justice to his role as he was in politics. Hero Raja said that he liked the story of the film and thanked all the technicians for being highly cooperative.

Prabhas has had an indifferent run of luck for quite sometime now as movies like ‘Pournami’, ‘Yogi’ and ‘Munna’ have done average business only. In fact, Prabhas has not has hit since Chatrapathi that was released two years ago. He is pinning his hopes on his forthcoming film ‘Bujjigadu’ to turn the tide at the Box Office. Puri Jagannadh is directing the movie, produced by K S Rama Rao. Trisha is playing the lead opposite Prabhas in the film, expected to hit the screens soon.
