Even before the news of Kangna Ranaut’s fancy pay packet could sink in, Hansika Motwani has dropped a bombshell by reportedly receiving more than three million bucks for doing an item number opposite Prabhas in the film Billa. When the whole world is obsessed with one word ‘recession’, Tollywood makers seem to think otherwise and are shelling out super bucks to rope in hotshot stars.
“I was paid what I deserve,” says Hansika, downplaying the issue. Now that she has got a huge amount, will she be seen in more item numbers in Tolly? “No more item numbers for me. I did this song only for director Meher Ramesh who is also like my brother,” she signs off. Actually, she has surpassed Aishwarya Rai , who did an item number with Nagarjuna in Ravoyi Chandamama few years ago and Charmme, who appeared in a item number in Bhale Dongalu to become a pricey item girl.

Hansika Motwani was born in Mumbai a city in India on August 9, 1991 and she started her career as a child artist. A Daughter of a business and her mother is a dermatologist though her parents were seperated in the year 2004.

She entered the film industry in the movie Yahoo where she acted as a child artist with Juhi Chawla and Govinda. Later on she came in the Hyundai Santro advert with Shahrukh khan and later was bagged with many offers.

Her next biggest offer was from Rakesh Roshan for acting in the movie Koi mil gaya with Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta. Alongwith acting in the movies she has also acted in many television adverts with big companies like Samsung, Pepsi and Bournvita. Her debut was in the movie Puri Jagannath’s Desamuduru opposite Allu Arjun.

NTR’s new film Kantri produced by Ashwini Dutt will commence shooting from October 22. Mehar Ramesh will direct the film. Hansika Motwani of Desamuduru fame has been signed up as the heroine.

The film’s shooting is being planned abroad. It will be shot either in London or Australia. However a decision on the final venue is yet to be taken.
